This new year I’ve felt inspired to update/uproot/upgrade many small things. It’s felt quite organic in that I’m seeing more opportunities to re-tune to what is needed and align myself closer to Her. And it’s felt quite natural and easy to do so. With that, my blessing ceremony has evolved and I’ve re-written lots of bits and bobs related to my malas & rosaries. Below is the new intro paragraph to the rosary story that comes with each one I send out into the world.
In addition you will see many more & varied images of Her in the months to come. The header image of this post is also an example of the evolution of my work. I curated them image using Ai. I’ve long sought out images of Great Mother that more closely reflect the beautiful diversity of women and have been excited to have found a way to do this.
New Rosary Story – which is pretty much my mission statement.
“My rosaries are ‘free range’ so they diverge from the Catholic style a bit. They follow the same prayer pattern of the traditional rosary but with additional opportunities for contemplation such as symbols that could be meaningful to the contours of your prayers or meditation. At heart, these are beads you can use for whatever spiritual practice you are called to. I strive to create malas and rosaries that are at once beautiful objects to behold with meaningful symbols that connect to the soul and serve as a reminder that the way of the Feminine is often many small acts of love, of compassion as well as action. Each bead connecting to the next, each breath spent honoring our connection to the Divine, refreshes us, consoles us, and reminds us that we are a vital presence here.
